EmbroideryWare was designed with professional capabilities from the start, and they are easy to use  This results in the ability to create designs that rival those created by professional digitizers.

EmbroideryWare does not require plugins to get the features you want, so you get all the features in all versions.

EmbroideryWare has professionally digitized lettering sets that stitch out as well or better than Embird and they are a third the price. Embird

Embird consists of a Basic Program ($184) plus plug in modules: Studio ($150), Font Engine ($145), and predigitized alphabets ($15 each).

The version that most digitizers want is the basic program, plus Studio, Font Engine, and about 20 predigitized alphabets.  This brings the total price to $779.  EmbroideryWare is a much better deal at $119 for the similar functionality.
