Using Silhouette Studio you can save a .png file. Then using inkscape you can autotrace the .png to create paths, and then save a .svg file. I found a tutorial online that goes into details on how this is done with Silhouette Studio. Tutorial on coverting studio files to .svg
The process basically has the following steps.

  1. Make your graphic black and white
  2. Save it as a .png
  3. Open it in inkscape
  4. Trace the image using Path/trace bitmap
  5. Watch my youtube video explaining using inkscape with EmbroideryWare
