Help! Mac Question

Hello,
I am desparately trying to find an embroidery software I can use on my Mac and/or iPad/iPhone. I own an Elna 8600 expressive. And I am pretty savvy technically so I do not have a problem learning software I just cannot spend $3,000. I’ve had my Elna for just a year (did mostly just sewing at first) and now that I want to learn the embroidery, I’ve come to learn about the craziness is that not easy to do with Macs. So I’ve just downloaded the embroiderywaresoftware trial, and was excited to try. Unfortunately it looks like it is not compatible with MAC? I do not want to run BootCamp, Parallels, with Windows etc on my Mac. 1)I do not currently own a version of windows and I do not want to purchase it 2) that just seems crazy to me. Anyway, I digress. I mainly want to use SVG files for embroidery. I’ve downloaded Inkscape and have no problem with using it as needed. I just now need a way to get it from Inkscape/SVG etc to embroidery software. I would appreciate any help you could give! Thank You, Shannon
